DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 29 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has commended Tanzanias constitutional system for enabling changes in key leadership positions to take place peacefully, saying the smooth transition demonstrates the countrys political stability and commitment to constitutional order.

President Samia made the statement when witnessing the swearing-in of the newly elected Vice-President, Deogratius Ndejembi in Dodoma earlier on Saturday where she thanked diplomats representing various countries in Tanzania and heads of international organisations for attending the swearing-in ceremony.
