DODOMA, Sept. 28 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Dr Juma Homera as the Minister for Energy replacing Deogratius Ndejembi who is now the Vice President.

Before the today, September 27, 2026, appointment, Dr Homera previously headed the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs.

President Samia also appointed the former Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) Director General, Masanja Kadogosa as the new Minister for Works.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Presidential Communications, in Dodoma today, Kadogosa takes over the Works docket from Abdallah Hamis Ulega, who has been appointed as the new Minister for Constitutional and Legal Affairs.
