DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has called for greater innovation to elevate the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, Sabasaba to higher international standards, saying the exhibition has become a key driver of trade, investment and economic growth over the past five decades.

Speaking at the official opening of the 50th edition of the fair, President Samia said the annual exhibition has, for 50 years, served as a vital platform linking producers with buyers, businesses with markets, investors with opportunities and Tanzania with the global economy.
