DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 22 -- DAR ES SALAAM Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila has urged women to embrace the use of clean energy in their daily lives.
Speaking an event known as pika kijanja emphasizing the use of clean energy in Dar es Salaam. He emphasized that using clean energy sources like gas or electricity for cooking helps to protect their health and that of their families.
He noted that many women in the region still rely on charcoal and firewood, which release harmful smoke and contribute to respiratory diseases.
