PORT LOUIS, April 13 -- TANZANIA and Egypt have vowed to strengthen diplomatic relations, with a strong focus on advancing economic diplomacy, particularly in trade and energy.
The two countries also pledged to enhance cooperation on regional and global issues to advance shared interests.
The commitment was made during a bilateral meeting between Tanzanias Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo and Egypts Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs for African Affairs, Mr Mohamed Abu Bakar Saleh Fattah. The meeting took place on Saturday in Port Louis, Mauritius.
