DODOMA, Aug. 1 -- Co-operative Bank Tanzania Plc (COOP Bank) assets have reached 176.8bn/- with customer deposits rising to 114.5bn/- from 19bn/-, driven by increased trust from customers and shareholders as well as the strengthening of internal operational systems.

Speaking in Dodoma during the banks Second Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the year ending December 31, 2025, COOP Bank Board Chairperson Dr Joseph Witts added that the lenders loan portfolio has surged to 101.8bn/-, up from 14bn/-, demonstrating its robust business growth.
