COAST REGION, Jan. 1 -- THE Minister in the Presidents Office (Planning and Investment) Professor Kitila Mkumbo has commended Coast Region for producing 86,621 employments through industrial and investment sectors and become a champion in implementing President Samia Suluhu Hassans priorities in the area of creating employment.

Prof Mkumbo was speaking on Tuesday at a brief ceremony to hand over investment agreement documents to investors who have been given areas in the Bagamoyo Eco Maritime City Special Zone (BEMC SEZ), in parallel with the release of a report on the countrys investment situation for the year 2025.
