Dar es Salaam, June 6 -- CHINA and Tanzania have reaffirmed their long-standing friendship and commitment to deeper cooperation following bilateral talks between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries.

The discussions highlighted growing political mutual trust, economic collaboration and shared positions on international affairs. In the course, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Tanzania at the invitation of Tanzanias Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

The meeting was described as warm and cordial, reflecting the historical ties between the two nations that date back more than six decades.
