DAR ES SALAAM, June 25 -- NMB Bank has announced a 150m/- sponsorship package for the eighth edition of the CDF Cup, which will run from July 6 to 17 in Dar es Salaam.

Organised by the Tanzania Peoples Defence Force (TPDF), the tournament will bring together military teams competing in 13 sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, handball, golf, swimming, darts, beach soccer and boxing.

During the sponsorship handover in Dar es Salaam, NMB Bank Head of Personal Banking Aikansia Muro said the banks support was aimed at strengthening sport within the armed forces and promoting unity among participants.
