DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 2 -- CCM has committed to addressing Dar es Salaams traffic challenges over the next five years by constructing new flyovers, expanding key roads and modernising transport infrastructure if re-elected.

Speaking at a campaign rally at Biafra grounds in Kinondoni, CCM presidential running mate Ambassador Emmanuel Nchimbi outlined the governments plans to build at least three new flyovers at some of the citys busiest intersections in Mwenge, Magomeni and Ali Hassan Mwinyi in Kinondoni, to ease traffic congestion.

He added that the party also plans to upgrade the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Phase III, build a new flyover at the Fire Area and expand the 56-kilometre Bagamoyo-Tegeta road.
