MTWARA, Oct. 3 -- THE Chama cha Mapinduzi(CCM) presidential running mate, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, has pledged that the government will continue to support cashew farmers across the country by providing them with free farming inputs.

Dr. Nchimbi made the remarks while addressing residents of the Nanyamba Town Council, Tandahimba, and Newala in Mtwara Region during a series of campaign rallies ahead of the general election scheduled for October 2025.

“The subsidy for fertilizer and seeds will continue to be provided to cashew farmers, and we will increase both the quantity and quality of the seeds to ensure our farmers get the best fertilizer and improved seeds,” Nchimbi emphasized.
