LINDI, Sept. 25 -- CCM Presidential Candidate, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday pledged that if elected in next months General Election, her government will promote improved and modern agricultural practices to ensure the sector benefits both farmers and the country at large.

Addressing campaign rallies at Ndanda in Mtwara Region, Ruangwa and Mtama in Lindi Region, President Samia assured that her government will continue providing subsidised fertilisers and other agricultural inputs, emphasising that such measures have already boosted the sector over the past five years.
