EGYPT, Aug. 13 -- THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has handed out disciplinary sanctions to three national football federations Kenya, Zambia and Morocco following various breaches of regulations during the on-going 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The CAF Disciplinary Board convened to review incidents that occurred during the early stages of the tournament and issued fines and warnings to the implicated parties.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) received the heaviest penalty, being fined USD 50,000 (128m/-) for multiple safety and security breaches. Zambia and Morocco were each fined USD 5,000 (12.8m/-).
