DODOMA, July 29 -- The Central Committee of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has endorsed Ester Bulaya, the former Special Seats Member of Parliament from the opposition party Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA), as one of five candidates shortlisted in the initial vetting process to contest for the Bunda Urban parliamentary seat on behalf of CCM.

The announcement was made by CCMs Secretary for Ideology, Publicity, and Training, CPA Amos Makalla, while revealing the names of members who met the criteria and were appointed during the initial selection phase. He stated that the nominations were conducted under the partys internal rules and leadership criteria.
