ARUSHA, June 4 -- BRUSSELS Airlines has launched direct flights between Belgian capital, Brussels and Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), renewing efforts to bolster tourism, trade and investment ties with Europe.

The inaugural flight landed at KIA on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, marking the implementation of the Air Services Agreement signed between the governments of Tanzania and Belgium in November 2021.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in air transport, tourism, trade and investment.
