DODOMA, April 16 -- THE Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) have recorded significant achievements in the first 100 days of President Samia Suluhu Hassans administration, registering 5,045 companies across the country.

BRELA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Godfrey Nyaisa, revealed the progress yesterday in Dodoma during a capacitybuilding seminar for councillors from the Dodoma City Council.

He said a total of 3,120 companies are owned by youth, alongside 8,792 business names, with 4,938 belonging to young entrepreneurs. The one-day session aimed at equipping the councillors with a deeper understanding of business formalisation processes to enable them to effectively support traders in their respective wards.
