DODOMA, Oct. 21 -- The Bank of Tanzania (BoT) has organized a special training program on identifying genuine and counterfeit banknotes for people with disabilities in Kongwa District, Dodoma Region.
The initiative aims to ensure that financial literacy and proper money-handling education reach all segments of the population.
The Chairman of the Tanzania Federation of People with Disabilities (SHIVYAWATA) in Dodoma Region, Omary Lubuva, said the training will empower persons with disabilities to recognize genuine banknotes as they engage in their daily activities.
