MALAWI, Oct. 10 -- TANZANIAN specialists from Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH) have performed 64 surgeries and attended to more than 810 patients during a medical camp in Malawi, strengthening healthcare cooperation between the two countries.

The camp, which began on September 28, 2026, concluded with 49 patients referred to Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma for further treatment.

Tanzanias Ambassador to Malawi, Agnes Kayola, said the initiative had benefited patients while providing an opportunity for healthcare professionals from both countries to exchange knowledge and experience.
