KISARAWE, Aug. 3 -- ASAS Team wheeler, Manvir Birdi, has strongly revived his National Rally Championship (NRC) title campaign after winning the Kisarawe Rally in Pwani region over the weekend.

Navigated by Zubair Piredina in Skoda Fabia, Birdi won the rally after beating his closest challenger by more than four minutes.

Officially known as Euro Cables Kisarawe Rally, the two-day event served as the third round of this years National Rally V Championship staged after earlier two rounds in Iringa and Morogoro respectively.

“ I thank sponsors Asas for their backing. I hope to maintain this discipline in the remaining two rounds of the NRC,” he said.

Birdi won as the fastest driver with 04 minutes and 52 seconds superiority....
