ZANZIBAR, Sept. 22 -- AIRTEL Tanzania has team up with partners to launch a digital learning initiative in Zanzibar, removing data barriers, training teachers and promoting digital literacy to build a skilled workforce and support inclusive economic growth.

The Director of Secondary Education in Zanzibar, Asia Iddy Issa, said at the weekend that the Airtel SmartWasomi programme enhances human capital, drives innovation and supports the isles transition to a knowledge-based economy, reducing inequality and promoting inclusive growth.
