MOROGORO, April 8 -- MINISTRY of Agriculture will step up efforts to collaborate with research institutions and universities in implementing the National Agroecology Strategy (2023– 2030), aimed at strengthening food and nutrition security in the country.
Deputy Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Professor Peter Msoffe, made the remarks during the opening of the Annual Tanzania Agroecology Stakeholders Forum held recently in Morogoro Region.
Prof Msoffe said the government also commends Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) for its significant contribution to advancing agroecology in Tanzania.
