ZANZIBAR, Sept. 15 -- ACT-WAZALENDO presidential candidate, Mr Othman Masoud Othman has urged Zanzibaris to elect him in the upcoming 2025 General Elections, promising bold reforms including a new minimum wage of 1m/-, improved benefits for public servants and a relent- less fight against corruption.

Addressing a large crowd at Kibanda Maiti grounds in Unguja, Mr Othman said the election is a defining moment for Zanzibar, offering voters a choice between “accountability and corruption, genuine development and continued poverty.”
