DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 1 -- ABSA Tanzania has rolled out a strategic campaign aimed at promoting greater adoption of digital banking channels in alignment with national efforts to advance a cashless economy.

The Banks Director of Retail Banking, Ms Ndabu Swere, said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that by promoting the use of debit and credit cards alongside internet banking, mobile banking and agency services, they aim to simplify transactions, expand financial inclusion and contribute to the countrys broader digital transformation agenda.

“Through this campaign, we aim to accelerate the transition to a cashless economy by offering customers safer and more convenient ways to bank,” she said.
