DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 4 -- A total of 794 university graduates have enrolled in vocational training programmes offered by the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) to acquire additional practical skills and improve their competitiveness in the labour market.

VETA Director General Anthony Kasore revealed this in Dar es Salaam on Friday stating that the growing number of graduates taking up vocational training reflects the increasing importance of additional technical skills in securing employment and responding to changing labour market demands.
