ARUSHA, May 9 -- 2,848 women have benefited from cervical and breast cancer screening services during a five-day outreach campaign conducted in Arusha District Council.

The campaign was jointly coordinated by the Arusha District Council Medical Office and the Aga Khan Health Services, Tanzania through the Integrated Womens Cancer Project in East Africa.

The initiative, which initially aimed to reach 2,200 women using mobile clinics across 15 villages and locations in the district, surpassed its target by reaching 2,848 women.
