Sri Lanka, July 20 -- The Colombo Criminal Investigation Department (CID) stated that an individual was arrested in the Hirana area on Saturday (18) with 18 kilograms of the narcotic Ice (methamphetamine), valued at approximately Rs. 350 million.

The suspect is a 26-year-old youth residing in the Arukgoda area of Alubomulla, Panadura, who runs a mobile phone shop.

Police stated that at the time of the arrest, the stock of Ice had been packed into 18 parcels of one kilogram each.

Investigations have revealed that the suspect is an accomplice of an organised criminal named 'Randika', who is currently overseas. Police said that the suspect hides the narcotics supplied in bulk by Randika and distributes them to various individuals, for whi...
