Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- The Colombo High Court, ordered yesterday (25) the acquittal of Daisy Forrest, the grandaunt of Yoshitha Rajapaksa, who was charged under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Deputy Solicitor General Janaka Bandara informed the Court special psychiatric report called by the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer regarding whether the defendant Daisy Forrest is mentally fit to stand trial. He said that medical recommendations have been issued stating that the defendant is not mentally fit to stand trial. After considering the facts, the judge ordered Daisy Forrest to be acquitted of the charges against her.
