Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Royal College Deputy Head Prefect Mihin Wanigasekara, captain of the unbeaten 2024 Water Polo team and winner of multiple trophies including the President's Trophy and the Dr. R. L. Hayman Trophy, was honoured with the Lorensz Pereira Most Outstanding Sportsman Trophy and had the rare privilege of meeting the legendary Royalist, Lorensz Pereira.
At 86 years old, Pereira is remembered as one of Royal's greatest all-rounders. He captained both the Cricket and Tennis teams in 1958, served as Head Prefect, earned four College Colours, and won the prestigious Donhorst Memorial Prize for the most outstanding all-round student.
