Sri Lanka, July 1 -- The Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Ministry has launched a joint programme aimed at directing rehabilitated youth from drug addiction, toward permanent professional employment in the private sector.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB), the Bureau of the Commissioner General of Rehabilitation and the Vocational Training Authority (VTA). A special discussion regarding this programme was held yesterday (30) at the Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Ministry chaired by Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti and Ministry Secretary Thilaka Jayasundara.
