Sri Lanka, March 20 -- A meeting between Vietnamese Ambassador Trinh Thi Tam and JVP General Secretary Tilvyn Silva took place at the party's head office in Pelawatte on Wednesday.

This was to inform the JVP about the decisions taken at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from January 20 to 23, 2026, and the future course of action.
