Sri Lanka, Aug. 30 -- The Sky Awards Ceremony 2025 the Sri Lanka's Annual Awards Ceremony titled "TOP 100 AWARDS 2025" was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on Saturday.

Veteran Photojournalist Herbert Perera, who celebrated his 50th Anniversary as a Photojournalist in June this year was recognised at this year's awards. He began his Journalism career as a Photojournalist cum Sports Reporter for Sun and Weekend Newspapers Published by Gunasena Publishers Ltd., and his first coverage was the Prudential World Cup Tournament 1975 played in England for the Sun and the Weekend Newspapers.
