Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- A first-year student at the Vavuniya University died after falling ill during a party held at the university premises last Friday night (October 31), Puvarsankulam Police reported.
The deceased was identified as T. M. N. S. Wickremesinghe, a 23-year-old student residing at no. 9, Jayasiripura, Anuradhapura, who was enrolled in the Applied Sciences Faculty.
The student was admitted to Puvarsankulam Hospital after experiencing a medical condition during a party held within the university premises last Friday (31). He died while receiving treatment at the hospital on Saturday (November 1) at about 9.30 a.m..
The body was initially kept at Puvarsankulam Hospital and was due to be transferred to the Vavuniya District Base...
