Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- Defence Deputy Minister, Major General (Retd.) Aruna Jayasekera said that there is vast untapped potential to strengthen cooperation between Sri Lanka and Russia, particularly in the areas of technology, energy expertise, logistics and maritime infrastructure.

"The close ties between the law enforcement and defence agencies of our two countries exemplify the strength of the relationship between Sri Lanka and Russia," he said.
