Sri Lanka, June 22 -- S. Paul Kapur, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, arrived in Sri Lanka today (22) for a three-day official visit, which will continue until June 24.

During his stay in Colombo, Kapur is scheduled to hold discussions with senior government officials, private sector representatives, and executives of US-based companies operating in Sri Lanka. The talks are expected to focus on expanding bilateral trade and investment, strengthening security cooperation, and enhancing collaboration on shared regional priorities.

The visit is being conducted under the framework of the United States Department of State, and is part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between Colombo and Washington.
