Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- On August 18, the No. 4 tunnel of the Upper Elahera Canal Project, undertaken by CSCEC Sri Lanka, was successfully completed, marking a critical step toward the final stage of the project and laying a solid foundation for the completionof the entire line.

Spanning 1,097 meters, the No. 4 Tunnel features a shallow burial depth and low-grade surrounding rock. It is located adjacent to residential areas and is surrounded by sensitive facilities such as houses, schools, and farms.
