Sri Lanka, Nov. 18 -- In a quiet ceremony at the Sri Lankan High Commission in New Delhi on Monday, India and Sri Lanka marked a significant milestone in strengthening economic and people-to-people ties-through the simple scan of a QR code. Sri Lankan nationals travelling to India can now download the Cheqor Monyapp, complete a quick passport- and visa-based KYC, and instantly load up to Rs2 lakh into the UPI One World digital wallet.
