Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Navy SC women's team led by Hansima Karunaratne recorded their ninth win in a row to maintain unbeaten record when they beat Air Force SC by 41 runs to emerge champions in the Major Club women's limited over cricket tournament at Air Force grounds Katunayake yesterday.

Navy SC scored 183 for 8 wickets in 50 overs while opener Hasini Perera top scored 62 in 102 balls with 7 fours. Air Force SC chasing a target of 184 were all out for 142 in 45 overs. The experienced leg spinner Inoka Ranaweera was the stand out bowler taking 4 for 22 in her 10 over spell.
