Srilanka, July 11 -- The UK government has introduced a series of reforms under its Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) aimed at simplifying imports from developing nations like Sri Lanka, the British High Commission in Colombo announced.
These upgrades are designed to boost economic growth in partner countries while reducing prices for UK consumers by making it easier for businesses to access high-quality, affordable products. The changes are part of the UK's broader Trade for Development agenda and build upon its recently published Trade Strategy.
