Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Two children were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy after the jet ski they were riding overturned at Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya on Sunday (16).Maldives News

The Navy's Rapid Response Rescue and Relief Unit (4RU) personnel, deployed for lifesaving duties at Gregory Lake, on witnessing the incident, acted promptly. Their timely intervention

The rescued children are residents of the Minuwangoda area, aged 11 and 13. Upon being rescued, they were handed over to Nuwara Eliya Police.
