Srilanka, Oct. 11 -- Twenty four teams featuring both men's and women's squads are set to compete in the second leg of the Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series, scheduled to take place on October 18 and 19 at the historic Race Course Grounds in Colombo 7.
Recognized as Asia Rugby's premier men's and women's national sevens circuit, the Emirates Sevens Series was established in 2009 and has since become a key fixture on the Asian rugby calendar.
The 2025 edition features two legs, with participation expanded to 15 national teams in both the men's and women's categories, a significant increase from the previous eight-team format.
