Sri Lanka, May 18 -- The Teldeniya Police stated that four youth who went to bathe in the Victoria Reservoir yesterday (17) afternoon had swept away, resulting in three deaths and leaving another youth missing.

The group had entered the reservoir from a location near the Teldeniya Bambaragala Temple. Local residents managed to rescue a 14-year-old schoolboy who was among the four individuals swept away.

The rescued student has been admitted to the Emergency Treatment Unit of the Teldeniya Hospital. Police investigations have revealed that the two deceased youths and the missing youth are residents of Werellagama, Aladeniya aged between 18 and 21.

Navy assistance has been sought to search for the missing youth, and further investigation...
