Sri Lanka, July 20 -- The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court on Friday (17) ordered the remand of three suspects, including Indian national Manjot Kalra, a co-owner of the Jaffna Kings franchise, until July 31 over allegations of attempting to fix matches in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).

Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after the suspects were produced in Court by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on the prevention of offences related to sports.

Officers from the SIU while presenting facts before the Court, stated that telephone conversations related to this incident have been recorded.
