Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- Former State Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe has alleged that the Sri Lankan government misled the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation during its recent visit, calling into question the transparency of official arrangements.
Senasinghe referred to IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva as the "Cheif Lady" and claimed that the government provided lavish hospitality, including high-end food, drinks, and facilities, to influence the delegation's perception.
