Sri Lanka, June 29 -- A Delegation from Thailand visiting Sri Lanka recently received temporary Buddhist Ordination at the Vidyaravinda Maha Pirivena Temple in Yatawatta, Pahalagama, Gampaha.

During the ceremony, four women were Ordained as Buddhist nuns, while four men received Novice Ordination followed by higher Ordination (Upasampada).

The group is expected to remain in Sri Lanka for two weeks before returning to Thailand upon completing their period of temporary Ordination.
