Sri Lanka, June 5 -- Aralaganwila Police said that four teachers and 17 students are receiving treatment at the Aralaganwila Hospital following a wasp attack on the Aralaganwila Leelaratne Wijesinghe College yesterday at around 8 a.m..

Leelaratne Wijesinghe College's principal Rohini Nissanka said that the wasp attack occurred yesterday morning while teachers and students were engaged in religious activities. She added that 17 students, including the principal, were stung by wasps while they were being evacuated to safer places. The principal also stated that 17 students who were injured in the wasp attack were admitted to the Aralaganwila Hospital yesterday morning and they are in good condition.
