Sri Lanka, July 21 -- SLPP National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa alleged that the Government was failing to use Tax Revenue for Public Welfare despite collecting record levels of income.

Speaking at a Divisional meeting in Deraniyagala on Sunday (19), Namal claimed that Taxes paid by the public were not being utilised to improve rural roads, schools, hospitals or places of worship.

He also referred to recent claims regarding a cyberattack involving Government funds, alleging that, despite the Government earning the highest Revenue in history, money had been lost while essential Public Sservices continued to face shortages.
