Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- Sri Lanka will field a team of 59 athletes at the forthcoming 4th South Asian Senior Athletic Championship which is scheduled to be held from October 24 to 26 in Ranchi, India. The National Sports Selection Committee has approved this team.

Sri Lankan athletic team and the officials met the Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage before they leave the island. Sri Lanka team comprised 30 male athletes, 29 female athletes and 20 officials.
