Sri Lanka, June 5 -- A Sri Lankan delegation is in Washington, D.C. this week for the US forum on Indian Ocean Ports and Supply Chains, connecting Sri Lankan Government and private sector representatives with American companies offering advanced US technology and expertise to help develop the country's ports sector, the US Embassy in Colombo in a post on X stated yesterday.

The delegation engaged with US Government officials, industry leaders, and development partners and will identify innovative, American solutions to support port expansion, digital transformation, financing and increased efficiency in Sri Lanka.
