Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- The Sri Lanka Under-17, junior Women's National Football Team will leave the island on August 19 to participate in the 64th Edition of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament which will be held from August 19 to 28 in Delhi, India.

The Subroto Mukherjee Memorial Tournament will feature a total of 31 teams, divided into eight groups of four. The young girls of Sri Lanka are in "Group B" and will be pitted against the renowned teams of Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Lakshadweep in the first round.
