Sri Lanka, Feb. 28 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has officially announced the temporary suspension of all flights from Sri Lanka to the Middle East, effective immediately. Director General and CEO of the CAASL, Damith Rambukwella, confirmed the move following an emergency high-level meeting held on February 28. The discussion included heads of SriLankan Airlines and FitsAir, alongside representatives from major regional carriers including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, Saudia, Oman Air, and Qatar Airways.
